Wednesday, April 29, 2026 Westside High School Bus 214, Sarah will not be making the High School run. Parents and students will need to meet Terena at Godfrey’s Corner at 6:25am.

Tuesday, April 28, 2026 Westside High School Berlin McKinney and Oceana Middle Schools Bus 244, Melissa, will not be running tomorrow. High School students/parents will need to meet Bus 200 at Kopper City Bottom at 6:35am and 3:05pm. Bus 186 will make the Elementary and Middle run starting at 8:00am and will start the evening run around 4:20pm.

📢 Calendar Update for Wyoming County Schools While the West Virginia Department of Education approved our waiver request for four snow days, we did have one additional snow day after the waiver was approved (March 17, 2026). As a result, one day has been added to the end of our school calendar. 📅 Last day for students: June 3 📅 Last day for teachers: June 8 Thank you for your flexibility as we wrap up the school year!

Bond Project Update! Take a look at the new practice gym going up at Westside High School! It’s great to see the progress being made and this space starting to come together. This is going to be a great addition for our students and athletes—we’re excited to watch it take shape!

What a fantastic hands-on learning experience for this group of Westside students! They participated in a college campus visit to Marshall University College of Science, and visited Marshall’s Medical School. Students were able to explore college life, eat on campus, experience a physics lab, and do a hands on cadaver lab that was phenomenal!   Thank you to our Westside Alumni that met us and shared their real life college experiences and advice with us! Westside’s Fischer Cline finished Top 10 in the state at the WV State Finals Archery Competition and is headed to NATIONALS! What an incredible accomplishment. We are so proud of you, Fischer! 🖤🩶🤍

The Westside Renegades are competing Friday in Morgantown at the State Theatre Competition against all West Virginia schools, A-AAAA! Good luck, Westside Theatre! 🖤🎭

🎉 Great News for Wyoming County Schools!
The West Virginia Department of Education has approved our waiver request, meaning we will NOT have to make up four snow days this school year. 📅 The last day of school will remain June 2. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for your flexibility during this winter’s weather. We’re looking forward to a strong finish to the school year!

Due to an unexpected emergency, Westside High School will be closed on Tuesday, February 18, 2026.

Wyoming County Schools will operate on a 3 hour delay on Monday, February 9, 2026. Out of abundance of caution, this will allow students and drivers to navigate areas in the daylight.
