Due to a logging truck turned over in Jesse the following buses will not be making morning runs.
Bus 122 Sissy.
Bus 212 Jewell.
Bus 140 Cindy.
Bus 214 Josh.
The road is going to be shut down approximately 2 hours.
Attention Westside students and families:
The gas issue at the school has been fixed. Numerous tests were performed by Mountaineer Gas and all tests showed that there are no further issues and Mountaineer has deemed the school building as safe. WESTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL WILL HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW, Thursday, January 19.
Special thanks to Mountaineer Gas for their assistance in this issue, from start to finish.

Students and parents will need to meet Bus 130 Terena at the follow times at the mouth of Cub Creek:
Westside AM mouth of cub 6:25.
Huff Elementary and Middle AM 8:15 at the mouth of cub.
Westside PM 3:15 at the mouth of cub.
Huff Elementary and Middle PM 3:50 at the mouth of cub.

Bus 211 will pick up students in main creek first then towards the county line.
Road Branch Elementary and Middle.
Bus 211 will begin at the Fire Department at 7:10, the to the Logan County line, then pick up students in main Huff Creek.
Students from the Fire Department towards the County Line will be around 10-15 minutes early!
PM Runs:
Bus 211 Amy will be bringing those students home!

Wyoming County Schools will be having a scheduled Professional Learning Day on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
Baileysville Elementary & Middle School, Pineville Elementary School, and Pineville Middle School will have additional Professional Learning Days on Tuesday, January 10, and Thursday, January 12, 2023. Students attending these three schools will not have school on January 10, January 11, and January 12, 2023.
Teachers will provide assignments for students to complete from home on January 10 and January 12, 2023.
ALL Wyoming County Schools will participate in a Professional Learning Day on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Bus 143 Sarah will not be running tomorrow morning or afternoon.
High School students will need to meet Bus 185 Robin at Godfrey’s Corner at 6:15am and then at the mouth of Cub Creek at 3:15pm.
Elementary and Middle School there will be no bus run for the morning!
PM Run:
Elementary and Middle School Parents will need to meet Bus 158 at the mouth of Cub Creek at 4:00pm.

Westside High School welcomed OMS, Baileysville, Road Branch, Glen Fork, and Huff Consolidated to see their winter arts showcase. The Hills and Valleys Vocal Ensemble, Westside and Wyoming East concert band, and the WHS production of Alice in Wonderland performed. Thank to the arts programs and our middle schools for a wonderful day! #WeAreWestside #RenegadesRise

Due to a roof construction issue, which will impact the heating units, Westside High School will not have school tomorrow, Wednesday, December 14. Thank you!
This afternoon, Westside High School received a phone call regarding a possible threat. School administrators immediately began working with law enforcement, and according to law enforcement, the situation has been resolved. At this time, no Westside students are suspected of involvement. If you have questions, please call the school or the Central Office. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
