A cohort of teachers are participating in a weekly series to increase their awareness of dyslexia and how to improve instruction for students with reading difficulties. All elementary schools have representatives on this team and will share the information with the coworkers in their building. Wyoming County Schools is proud to have educators who continue to be lifelong learners as this benefits so our students.❤️

Mrs. Lester’s 7th grade students at Glen Fork spent Columbus Day digging a little deeper into the facts surrounding Christopher Columbus’s journey. Students debated his role in history and discussed how different people may have different views of what really took place. Students did a great job sharing their ideas and perspectives!

National School Lunch Week’s theme for 2024 is School Lunch Pirates Find Your Treasures. Today, our lunch pirates at Road Branch Elementary and Middle School found their “fortunes” on their lunch trays with a fortune cookie treat! I wonder what treasure they will find tomorrow?

A few of the Glen Fork Tiger Mentors and Student Council members spent the morning at Baileysville Elementary and Middle School reading and doing a Halloween project with kindergarten and 1st grade students. We love being able to let our students help in various ways throughout our county! We are so proud of them for stepping out of their comfort zones to share with others!
