Parents and Guardians of Oceana Middle School students. We would like to invite you to our ELA Spring Title I Poetry Showcase and Paint Night. Join us at OMS on April 25th at 5:00PM to see your child’s poetry showcased followed by a step by step painting class the entire family can enjoy. Food will be provided. Due to power issues in the Mullens and Herndon areas, students will be dismissed today (April 22, 2024) at 9:30am from Mullens Elementary, Mullens Middle, and Herndon Consolidated.

Thank you to Mayor Aaron Hatfield and the Pineville Town Council for allowing Deirdre Cline, Superintendent, to speak at their meeting last evening about the Excess Levy Renewal. The Town Council adopted a Resolution in Support of the Excess Levy Renewal which will be on the ballot on May 14, and has been passed by Wyoming County’s citizens since 1927, 97 years. WyCo Schools appreciates the support of the Town of Pineville!👏🏼

Last night, Professional Learning Community facilitators, principals, and central office staff participated in the final community of practice meeting of the year. The session allowed us to reflect on our PLC practices and commit to continued growth next year. “Let’s taco ‘bout professional learning communities” was the theme of the event.🌮📚
