Parents/Guardians, In spring 2022, your student took the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA), which measures academic progress for students and schools in West Virginia. Students in Grades 3-8 took the English language arts (ELA) reading, ELA writing, and mathematics sections of the test, with students in Grades 5 and 8 also taking science. Your student(s) should have received or will soon receive their summative assessment score report(s) from the 2021-2022 school year. Your child will also receive a video score report through their school email within the next few days. If you have any issues accessing the video report link, please contact your child's school for assistance. Below you will find links to the digital assessment parent guidance documents to help you better interpret the score reports.
