Administrators and teachers from Westside and Wyoming East, along with Central Office staff, attended the Secondary STRIVE Special Education Edition Conference. They received training on House Bill 2499, secondary discipline, transition planning, and specially designed instruction—equipping our teams to better support every learner!

Bus 186 Amy and 210 Summer will not be making their AM Elementary and Middle School Runs.
Bus 214 will be picking up students in Jesse, Matheny, to Turkey Dip.
Bus 244 will be picking up the Apartment’s, Oceana Medical Clinic, Oak Grove Subdivision. Bus 244 will start picking up those students at 8:15am.
Bus 223 will pick up from the intersection of 971 through town.
WCS Curriculum Leadership Team visited Mullens Elementary today and saw incredible teaching and learning — Heggerty, ELA “surgery,” STEM Balloons Over Broadway, math interactive notebooks, and PreK brain breaks for mindful moments. Proud of this amazing team!

Even on busy weeks, this team continues to show their commitment to strengthening literacy instruction for our students. Through live virtual sessions, book study, and online coursework, they are building the knowledge and skills that will make a lasting impact in our classrooms.
A special shout-out to Marissa Schomaker, who shared her experience with a phonics simulation designed to mirror how students with reading challenges may feel. She reports that she loves LETRS and thoroughly enjoyed her first live session!
