It’s Homecoming Week! Wyoming East and its feeder schools will release three hours early on Thursday, October 1, so our students, staff, and families can join in the WEHS Homecoming Parade festivities! We look forward to coming together and celebrating our Warriors! Go Warriors!

Tuesday, September 29, 2026 Westside High School Berlin McKinney Elementary School Oceana Middle School Bus 244, Melissa, will not be running this afternoon. Westside High School parents will need to meet Bus 200 at Koppercity Bottom at 3:10pm Berlin McKinney and Oceana Middle students will be brought home on Bus 186. Bus 186 will not leave the schools until approximately 4:30pm.

Tuesday, September 29, 2026 Pineville Elementary and Middle Schools Bus 254, Taylor will not be running this morning. Parents and students will need to meet Bus 242 at the mouth of Skin Fork at 7:50am.

Our WCCTC Hairstyling I students are celebrating Dolly Parton Day a little early—and they understood the assignment! In honor of Tennessee’s Dolly Parton Day on September 25, students are putting their hairstyling skills to work by creating their own versions of Dolly’s iconic hair. Glen Fork students had the first of our Reading Riddler special visitors today to kick off our year full of Reading adventures! Students are given clues leading up to the day of our surprise guest visits. Our goal is to help students find joy in reading through the visits. A special thank you to Olivia Hylton, Holly Brehm, Sadie Branham and Lyndsey Branham for stopping by to read some of our favorite books. They were even able to share some of the books that were gifted to them through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Due to an unexpected power outage at Mullens Elementary and Middle School, there will be not school on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Wyoming County Schools is excited to partner with Special Olympics to offer inclusive athletic opportunities: ⭐ Young Athletes: Ages 2–7 A sport and play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities. ⭐ Traditional Special Olympics: Ages 8+ Athletic training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Sports include bowling, basketball, cheerleading, track & field, and cornhole. Come join the fun!
