The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center has been recognized as one of eight regional finalists for the Hope for the Future: School-Business Partnership of the Year Award. This award is a $2000 grant for the Diesel Program. Each of the eight finalists are now in the running for a $25000 award package. Their partnership with Boyd Cat helps students further their education and skills sets to start their careers and/or college education. Boyd Cat donates equipment, training supplies, and donations to help support students to attend SKILLS USA along with various other needs. In the partnership with Boyd the Career Center tries to help fill the need for trained skilled laborers.
