Glen Fork celebrated the students who had perfect attendance or had only missed a couple days. They have worked so hard this year to be at school so we wanted to celebrate big!! Students were treated to a day out in Charleston! They enjoyed a nice lunch at Olive Garden and finished up with Ice Skating. The kids had a GREAT time! Thank you to Mrs. Warrix and Mrs. Reed for taking them on this awesome trip! We also want to thank Southridge Olive Garden and South Charleston Ice Rink for helping us make this day happen!

Glen Fork’s 8th grade students had a GREAT trip to the Greenbrier Resort Bunker! We learned so much about the history of the resort and the purpose of creating the bunker as we toured the facility! It was an awesome learning experience for the students and chaperones!

Glenna McCoy, Deanna Bailey, Susan Stafford, and Brenda Shumate attended the “Better Together” event hosted by the WV Head Start Association. They focused on identifying challenges, sharing solutions, and strengthening collaboration to support early childhood education in Wyoming County.
