Urgent Security Update: Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members, We want to inform you that a security lockdown was briefly in place today at Pineville Middle School, Pineville Elementary School, and Wyoming County Career and Technical Center as a precautionary measure. This situation had NOTHING to do with any of the schools! This is a situation that took place at the Health Department. We are relieved that this situation is under control, and the individual involved is in custody. We take the safety of our students and staff seriously, and we enacted these lockdowns as a proactive step to ensure everyone's well-being. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. As of now, all lockdowns have been lifted, and it is safe for students to resume their normal activities. We will continue to work closely with law enforcement and maintain a heightened level of vigilance to ensure the ongoing security of our schools. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Glen Fork 7th and 8th grade students would like to thank Mr. Fleming, Mr. Cook and the FLP students for coming by today! As part of our GearUp SWV project, we surveyed students about careers they are interested. To address some of the interests, we invited the FLP to speak to our students about their program at the high schools and the career options that are available through the different branches of the military for those who are interested in that pathway. 💙🐯💙 #GFgreatnessfortomorrow #LoveMyWyCoSchool #ShowcaseWyCoSchools #IamGEARUP #GEARUPworks #GEARUPSWV #IheartGEARUP
