🎉 HUGE NEWS, Wyoming County! 🤩 We're so proud to announce that both our Westside and Wyoming East boys basketball teams have earned their spots in the STATE TOURNAMENT! 🏀🏆 Due to this incredible achievement, there will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, March 18th!
This is an incredible moment for our community, and we want to see the entire county show up to support these talented athletes! Let's pack the stands and cheer our teams to victory!
Here's the schedule:
• 9:30 a.m.: Westside vs. Doddridge County
• 9:00 p.m.: Wyoming East vs. Logan

2023-2024 Teacher of the Year, Brooke Bailey, was surprised today while teach at Mullens Elementary School. She not only received a beautiful plaque from the WVDE, but was also informed that she will be receiving new student desks, seats, and vertical writing surfaces.📚

Wyoming County’s School Counselors attended the West Virginia School Counselors Association professional development conference. Sessions, such as Parent Guidance, Transitions, Transcript Analysis, Catch My Breath, Cybersecurity, and many more were offered at the conference. Our very own Angguna Rowe and Christy Young presented a session entitled, “Shed Light on the Critical Issues of Mental Health Challenges Among our Youth.” We appreciate our School Counselors!
