Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade at Huff Consolidated worked together to explore nature. They made binoculars, bird feeder fruit loop necklaces, handprint fire pits, and explored their senses with food products made from trees and plants such as cloves, syrup, vanilla, vinegar, and cinnamon. The students learned how nature helps us and how we can help nature. 🌱🪴

The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center hosted the Local School Improvement Council Board of Education meeting on Thursday. They were able to showcase the successes and work of their students to the Board members and central office staff. The students did an amazing job!👏🏼

NATIONAL SCHOOL NURSES WEEK honors all school nurses who care for the children in the schools every day. School nurses promote learning through healthy children. School nurses are often the first place a student thinks to go when they don't feel well or have been hurt. The main focus of a school nurse is making sure every student has what they need to learn well, which often includes managing health concerns.
