Westside High School’s students enjoyed the 1st annual lighting of the Christmas trees. It was a nice event with our band playing Christmas songs and everyone wearing their Christmas attire. Wyoming East’s Friends of the Earth recognized their volunteers and Spring 2021 Top Recyclers at their Volunteer Award Ceremony made possible by a Volunteer WV mini-grant of $400.
Volunteers participate in after school and weekend events. Their newest project was researching microplastic concentrations on riverbanks. Thank you to our volunteers!
The top recyclers were awarded cash/gift cards courtesy of the club’s aluminum recycling proceeds and PepsiCo Recycling Rally’s awards.
