Pre-K and kindergarten staff engaged in professional development led by Caryn Tabor from the WV Autism Training Center at Marshall University. The participants focused on recent research, understanding characteristics of children on the spectrum, exploring the “keys” of behavior, and learning strategies to create inclusive classroom environments.

Grades 3-5 Math Teachers received training on the WVDE UNITe with Numeracy Initiative today. They participated in activities focused on number talks in the classroom and the Mathematical Habits of Mind. The session was facilitated by Becky Lafferty of Glen Fork Elementary, Brooke Bailey of Mullens Elementary, and Katherine Dudley of Mullens Middle.

Way to go East! 💚💚📣 🏐 History has been made! The Wyoming East Lady Warriors Volleyball team has qualified for the state tournament for the first time in school history!
To support and celebrate this incredible accomplishment, there will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, November 12, for Wyoming East, Pineville Elementary, Pineville Middle, Herndon Consolidated, Mullens Elementary, Mullens Middle, and Glen Fork.
This will give our students the opportunity to attend the tournament, cheer on their team, and be part of this historic moment. Thank you for helping make this experience possible for our children and for supporting Wyoming East Volleyball!🏐
