Students in the WCCTC's Drafting-CADD program presented their architectural style research to Mrs. Lusk today. In preparation for an architectural design challenge final, students were able to research a style of their choice, describe its key characteristics, influences, impacts, and historical significance. Students made sure to note key takeaways regarding their research, presentation skills, and applying APA formatting to written and presented works.👏🏼

Mr. Chris Jennings is the instructor for the Carpentry program at the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center. Mr Jennings graduated from Pineville High School and the WCCTC with a diploma in Carpentry in 1988. Mr. Jennings holds a Bachelor degree in both Criminal Justice and Parks and Recreation Management from Marshall University. He is a licensed WV Contractor. He started working in carpentry and woodworking in 1996. He worked in the construction field for 84 Lumber for 16 years, beginning in 2000. He began teaching the carpentry program in 2017 and achieved his Masters in Technical and Adult Education in 2020. Mr. Jennings is a valued asset to the students of the WCCTC.🛠️

Mr. Mike Johnson came to the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center in 2021 as the Law and Public Safety Instructor. He was a 1995 graduate of the WV State Police Academy. Mr. Johnson served 17 years as a deputy sheriff for Wyoming County. Concurrently he has served 35 years on the Pineville Fire Department and also 11 years as a Fire Instructor. Mr. Johnson brings a vast array of knowledge and experience to the Law and Public Safety program at the WCCTC. Our students are very fortunate to have him guiding them in their career path.🚔🚨
