Westside GEAR UP SWV 9th graders visited the 2025 Wyoming County Schools Vittles Market on Friday.  During their visit, they were able to explore careers and opportunities specific to WV and Wyoming County related to agriculture.  A great time was had by all! #GEARUPSWV

Westside High School: Students in Laurel Branch will be on Bus 243 Carla. Bus 251, Buffy will have Sun Hill and Long Branch together. Cedar Creek parents need to meet at the mouth of the hollow at 2:50pm Baileysville Elementary and Middle School: Bus 243, Carla will have Laural Branch. Those students will be about 20 minutes late getting home. Bus 251, Buffy will have Sun Hill and Long Branch together. Cedar Creek parents will need to meet the bus at the mouth of the hollow at 4:05pm.

Attention Westside High School and Feeder Schools- The WHS Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Thursday, October 2 at 5:30pm. To encourage and promote community participation, ALL Westside students and feeder schools will have a 3- hour early dismissal on Thursday, October 2. This includes- Road Branch Elementary & Middle, Glen Fork Elementary & Middle, Baileysville Elementary & Middle, Huff Consolidated, Berlin McKinney Elementary, Oceana Middle, and Westside High school. Due to an unexpected power outage at Huff Consolidated, there will be no school at Huff Consolidated on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Glen Fork had fireworks today!! Every time our school has 95% or higher for attendance, we add a little fireworks to our attendance board. We have been so close several times hovering between 92%-94%. So…..to celebrate our first one of the year, we had a special drawing for some gift cards.
