Bus 202 will drop off through Corrine Bottom, across Tracey’s Mountain, then back down through Stephenson, Amigo, Wyco.
Students on the Middle and Elementary run may be 10/15 minutes late!

Mrs. Sizemore and Ms. Geneva’s Pineville Pre-K class had a lesson on Autism for Disabilities Awareness Week. They watched an engaging video on disabilities and discussed different types of disabilities. The students colored an A for Autism. 🌈

Today Junior and Senior students selected by their instructors at the WCCTC, participated in the first virtual meeting of the Simulated Workplace Leadership Series. This is a series of meetings to teach students leadership skills for the work environment.💻

Students at Huff Consolidated showed support for those with Dyslexia by wearing silver or gray. Students in 7th and 8th grade also learned about different types of disabilities and the resources available by Ms. Cox of the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services.🤍🤍

Westside AP Government students attended the LAWS program sponsored by the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. Students from participating schools were divided into groups to hear oral argument in one case, followed by a "debriefing" with the attorneys who argued the case.🧑⚖️

The Therapeutic Services class at the WCCTC is selling chances on two gift cards to raise money for the Denisa Thomas Scholarship fund. This scholarship is awarded to a WCCTC Senior that plans to further their education after graduation. If you would like to purchase a chance, contact any student in Therapeutic Services or come by the office at the WCCTC. This week is National Disability Awareness. Pineville Middle students participated in stations that allowed them to experience what it would be like to have some of the “invisible” disabilities.
