Congratulations 2024 Wyoming County Spelling Bee Participants! This year’s First Place Winner is Brandon Gentry of Herndon Consolidated Elementary & Middle School, Second Place Winner is Joseph Newsome of Road Branch Elementary & Middle School, and the Third Place Winner is Lacey Walls of Huff Consolidated Elementary & Middle School. Today’s spelling bee competition was one of the most intense contests in years! We are proud of all 22 contestants!🐝

Wyoming County was well-represented at the 2024 Youth and Government Seminar in Charleston. The students learned about the three branches of government, met their representatives, and had a great time!
