Glen Fork’s first ever Dinner Theater was a huge success!!! Under the direction of Mr. McKinney, our 7th and 8th grade students have prepared for weeks to present a special play. Families were served a spaghetti dinner and dessert while enjoying a fabulous performance by our talented students!

Westside’s Tanner Walls won the boys’ division of the 2022 WV Junior Match Play Championship held at the Parkersburg Country Club on May 7-8.

Westside’s Kerri-Anne Cook won the girls’ division of the 2022 WV Junior Match Play Championship held at the Parkersburg Country Club on May 7-8. The tournament is for golfers under age 18. The tournament was sponsored by the WV Golf Association.

The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center faculty and staff would like to congratulate Hunter Adams and Jesse Lester for achieving the Governor’s Workforce Credential. In order for students to receive this award they must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, secure a minimum of one state-approved industry certification, meet the Governor’s Workforce credential cut-score on their state-approved CTE program of study technical assessment, achieve a minimum score of 95% on the CTE portfolio, attain a verified school attendance of 95% or higher, and pass a minimum of two documented drug screenings. Both students are enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program at the WCCTC. ❤️

Every 50 pounds of recyclables earned a raffle ticket for $200 in Walmart Gift Cards. Congratulations, Auron Baldwin, for winning this raffle!🏅
Friends of the Earth members volunteer after school to weigh bags of recycling. The weight and type of recyclable is recorded on data sheets and transferred to an Excel file to determine the top recyclers. These awards would not be possible without the club members dedication to Wyoming East’s recycling program.♻️❤️
