At their monthly meeting, middle school TAG students completed a difficult STEM activity by constructing “Bone Bridges” from pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, and cotton swabs. Alex Casteel from Mullens Middle School won the award for best design and strongest bridge. 🦴💪🏼

Students in the Carpentry Program at the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center enjoyed the fruits of their labor during their weekly Simulated Workplace company meeting. The Adirondack chairs were constructed by the students using a variety of tools including jig saw, miter saw, sander, router, drill and hand tools. 🪑👏🏼

The Law and Public Safety Program at the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center had some special visitors. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s office held a canine demonstration that included a mock drug search and bite sleeve. They also demonstrated their ability to chase down a fleeing suspect. The police dogs are two years old. One is a Belgium Malinowski named Cain and the other one is a short haired German Pointer named Rio. Cane’s handler is Deputy Logan Cook and Rio’s handler is Deputy Christian Hedinger.

Bus 151 will begin to pick students up that ride Bus 158 beginning around 8:45
PM Runs:
Westside High School
Ike’s Fork and Lower Muzzle students will need to meet on the main road
Huff Consolidated Elementary and Middle
Bus 158 students will be brought home on Bus 151. Bus 151 will leave the school around 4:30.
