Students in Mr. Thomas’ Agriculture class at MMS completed their DIY hydroponics systems today. Heirloom tomato seeds will be used from a tomato dating back to 1963. The class is also growing carrots, onions, radishes, a selection of peppers, and a selection of other tomatoes. Miniature greenhouses will be installed after Thanksgiving break and chicken eggs will start to be incubated at the beginning of January. 🧅🍅🥕🥚

WE would like to congratulate Wyoming East senior Hannah Blankenship on being named not only a school winner, but also a STATE WINNER, of the Heisman High School Scholarship, presented by Acceptance Insurance, which extends the Heisman prestige to our nation’s most esteemed male and female high school seniors by recognizing and rewarding outstanding scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories not only happen on the field, but in their schools and communities. Hannah has a GPA of 4.750. She has participated in cross country and/or girls basketball in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.
