Thank you to Mayor Aaron Hatfield and the Pineville Town Council for allowing Deirdre Cline, Superintendent, to speak at their meeting last evening about the Excess Levy Renewal. The Town Council adopted a Resolution in Support of the Excess Levy Renewal which will be on the ballot on May 14, and has been passed by Wyoming County’s citizens since 1927, 97 years. The session allowed us to reflect on our PLC practices and commit to continued growth next year. “Let’s taco ‘bout professional learning communities” was the theme of the event.🌮📚

Congratulations to Rian Osborne of Pineville Elementary School for being selected as the Wyoming County First Place Winner in the 2024 Kids Kick Opioids Contest! The theme for the contest is raising awareness about prescription opioid abuse. Rian’s, along with any other school entries received, were sent to the WV Attorney General’s office for state competition.👏🏼
