It was reported to law enforcement that gunshots were heard in the mountains near the Baileysville school area. Out of an abundance of caution, the school has been placed on lockdown until clearance has been given by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department. We believe that this is a hunting related occurrence but out of an abundance of caution we will work with law enforcement to ensure safety of our students and staff! We are grateful for the hard work of our officers everyday.
We are excited to host the annual Wyoming County Spring Arts Gala: Enchanted Appalachia. This free event will be held at the Board of Education building on May 23 from 5-8 pm.🎭🎨🖌️🎶

Mountain Heart held its annual Track and Field Day event along with a Parent Appreciation Celebration on Thursday at Twin Falls State Park. Over 300 children and families from our Universal Pre-K classrooms enjoyed games, treats and lots of fun!👏🏼🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♂️
