Teachers and administrators from Baileysville and Road Branch gathered today to participate in the Instructional Empowerment Model of Instruction 101 training. Ashley Baez, from IE, provided the hands-on support. All participants received materials to implement strategies in their classrooms. Instructional aides from Baileysville and Road Branch met today to learn about the science of reading and how to apply it in their daily routines. They learned new small group station ideas for the foundational skills of reading. Amy Mitchell provided resources to help them assist their teachers and students in using research-based strategies to increase student literacy. 🍎📚📖

Did you know that Levy Funds support classroom upgrades that will impact student learning? Wyoming County recently surprised Joanna Huffman with an announcement that she will be receiving a classroom update. Ms. Huffman is the Wyoming County Teacher of the Year. 🍎

Glen Fork 7th grade students utilized their Summary Mats to dig deeper into their lesson on Socrates. Students were able to debate their opinions on whether he was guilty or innocent using supporting fact they have learned through this unit.
