We are excited to partner with the GEAR UP program, Concord University, and New River Community and Technical College to bring wonderful college and career planning opportunities to our students throughout the next six years!❤️👏🏼

Students in the WCCTC Drafting-CADD program have been working on pattern development. While learning both radial and parallel line methods, they created 3D objects from flat 2D drawings. This process is used primarily in the manufacturing industry to create complex structures from sheet metal. We also often see the results of this process as carboard containers for many of the items we use everyday, such as food carriers, shipping materials, and product packaging.📦

Wyoming County Schools Curriculum Coach Department hosted the fourth session of the “Welcome to the Team” professional development series, last week. The session was geared toward building a community of educators that can work together, share ideas, and discuss various educational topics that are relevant to first year teachers.
