The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center faculty and staff would like to congratulate Hunter Adams and Jesse Lester for achieving the Governor’s Workforce Credential. In order for students to receive this award they must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, secure a minimum of one state-approved industry certification, meet the Governor’s Workforce credential cut-score on their state-approved CTE program of study technical assessment, achieve a minimum score of 95% on the CTE portfolio, attain a verified school attendance of 95% or higher, and pass a minimum of two documented drug screenings. Both students are enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program at the WCCTC. ❤️

Every 50 pounds of recyclables earned a raffle ticket for $200 in Walmart Gift Cards. Congratulations, Auron Baldwin, for winning this raffle!🏅
Friends of the Earth members volunteer after school to weigh bags of recycling. The weight and type of recyclable is recorded on data sheets and transferred to an Excel file to determine the top recyclers. These awards would not be possible without the club members dedication to Wyoming East’s recycling program.♻️❤️

Oceana Middle School is receiving a new roof from Board of Education Permanent Improvement Funds. This upgrade is necessary to be sure that the school remains in good shape for many years. Our students and staff deserve high quality facilities, which is a high priority for WyCo Schools.❤️🤍🖤

Westside High School is in the process of a new roof and new HVAC units. The roof project is funded through Board Permanent Improvement funds. The HVAC project is funded through ESSERF/CARES funds to insure air quality for many years to come. Both projects will help maintain the facility for a long time.👏🏼🖤🤍
