The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center faculty and staff would like to congratulate Hunter Adams and Jesse Lester for achieving the Governor’s Workforce Credential. In order for students to receive this award they must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, secure a minimum of one state-approved industry certification, meet the Governor’s Workforce credential cut-score on their state-approved CTE program of study technical assessment, achieve a minimum score of 95% on the CTE portfolio, attain a verified school attendance of 95% or higher, and pass a minimum of two documented drug screenings. The weight and type of recyclable is recorded on data sheets and transferred to an Excel file to determine the top recyclers. Oceana Middle School is receiving a new roof from Board of Education Permanent Improvement Funds. This upgrade is necessary to be sure that the school remains in good shape for many years. Westside High School is in the process of a new roof and new HVAC units. The roof project is funded through Board Permanent Improvement funds. The HVAC project is funded through ESSERF/CARES funds to insure air quality for many years to come. Both projects will help maintain the facility for a long time.👏🏼🖤🤍 #ShowcaseWyCoSchools
