LETRS Learning Highlight!
Shoutout to Lauren Manning for her powerful reflection on her LETRS journey:
“Taking the LETRS class has been very eye-opening… This class has shown me multiple ways to help students by getting to the root of their reading struggles. Learning about Ehri’s Phases of Word Development and the Simple View of Reading have been the most interesting topics for me so far.”
We’re proud of Lauren’s commitment to growing her literacy expertise! 🌟

Glen Fork K-4 and Headstart students had a special visit today from WV Author, Chad Story. During the visit, Mr. Story had students "fly" south as he talked about what Jay, the red cardinal, was doing on each step of its journey! The travels included visits to major landmarks throughout WV. They wrapped up the visit with questions and sang Country Roads! We are so grateful for the exciting visit provide by Mr. Story!
