Huff Consolidated had an eventful week in PreK. They’ve been reading about community helpers and talking about what they want to be when they grow up. They had some visitors to tell them what they do and how they help the community. A policeman, a nurse, a postal worker, two sanitation workers, and a bus driver to teach them how to ride the bus safely.🚌 #ShowcaseWyCoSchools

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Upcoming Homecoming Parade Information:   We are so excited to celebrate our annual Homecoming festivities.  Wyoming County Schools unite our communities in several ways but none quite as large or exciting as Homecoming. This is a cherished tradition that many communities only dream of conducting. Through hard work and numerous volunteers, our schools execute outstanding parades. In order to help with transportation issues, avoid traffic flow problems, and to allow our communities to participate in the upcoming homecoming parades, we will operate on the following schedule:   September 28- Westside High Schools Homecoming parade. All feeder schools including: Westside (Berlin McKinney, Huff Consolidated, Baileysville Elementary and Middle, Road Branch Elementary and Middle, Oceana Middle, and Glen Fork) will be released 3 HOURS EARLY.❤️💙🖤🩶   October 19- Wyoming East High Schools Homecoming parade.  All feeder schools including: Wyoming East (Pineville Middle, Pineville Elementary, Herndon Consolidated, Mullens Elementary, Mullens Middle, and Glen Fork) will be released 3 HOURS EARLY.💚🖤   Thank you for always supporting our students inside and outside the classroom!😁 #InformWyCoSchools

Mrs. Lester’s middle school students at Glen Fork wrapped up “Celebrate Freedom Week” with “Tea and Biscuits” as they discussed the Boston Tea Party. For the last week, they have completed activities that helped them learn about our constitution and freedom. They created a Remembrance Collage for 9/11 and a flag with handprints that incorporated the Preamble in the white of the flag. What an exciting week of learning!! 🇺🇸💙🐯💙🇺🇸 #GFgreatnessfortomorrow #LoveMyWyCoSchool #ShowcaseWyCoSchools
