ATTENTION! On Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, all Wyoming County Schools will participate in a Mandatory Countywide Lockdown/Shelter in place drill.
The Lockdown/Shelter in place shall be held between 9-9:30am Tuesday morning.
It’s mandatory that all school personnel participate in the drill. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL!
The goal of the drill is preparedness to keep our students and staff safe under any circumstances. We love our children! We love our school employees! We pray this preparedness is never needed.♥️

The Wyoming East Warrior Pride Marching Band toured Herndon Consolidated, Pineville Middle, and Mullens Middle Schools over the past two days. They played this year’s marching show and talked to the students about the benefits of music and the arts. Many 8th graders signed up to participate in the marching band for next year. WE’re very excited for what’s in store for the band! 🎶🎺 #musicmatters #warriorpride

Today at Huff Consolidated, a situation arose involving a pedestrian walking along the road by our school. Out of an abundance of caution, we placed the school on lockdown to allow time for an investigation and law enforcement to do a safety check. We will remain on lockdown until law enforcement gives us the all clear.
The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff will always remain a priority, therefore we will always do everything in our power to ensure the safety of our school.
