Glen Fork 7th and 8th grade students would like to thank Mr. Fleming, Mr. Cook and the FLP students for coming by today! As part of our GearUp SWV project, we surveyed students about careers they are interested. To address some of the interests, we invited the FLP to speak to our students about their program at the high schools and the career options that are available through the different branches of the military for those who are interested in that pathway.

CONGRATULATIONS! Our Oceana and Glen Fork Middle School Cross Country Team excelled at the Lincoln County Invitational XC Meet yesterday in Hamlin, WV.
The Boys Team finished 3rd out of 9 Middle Schools and continues to improve as a team each time they race. All of our runners had a great XC Meet and continue to improve and always race "hard".
***Brody Lester finished 1st in the race with a speedy time of
11:51.8 and finished almost 1 minute ahead of the closest
competitor.
