Mrs. Lester treated her 7th grade students at Glen Fork with a Mediterranean Feast. Students have been learning about Ancient Greece and Rome. The menu allowed them the opportunity to experience the types of food served in the area as the wrapped up the unit.

Wyoming County Schools begins a new tradition! The current teacher of the year for Wyoming County, Norma Acord-Combs of Wyoming East High School, was surprised today with a classroom update. Kara Halsey- Mitchell, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, surprised Mrs Acord- Combs with the news. Measurements were taken and a design will be released soon!

Mrs. Candy and Ms. Glenda’s Pre-K class at Berlin celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by Eating of the Greens.🍀
Today at Huff Consolidated, a situation arose involving an unknown parked vehicle out back. Out of an abundance of caution, we placed the school on lockdown to allow time for an investigation and law enforcement to do a safety check. The situation was immediately resolved and school resumed to normal operations.
The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff will always remain a priority, therefore we will always do everything in our power to ensure the safety of our school.
