Urgent Security Update:
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
We want to inform you that a security lockdown was briefly in place today at Pineville Middle School, Pineville Elementary School, and Wyoming County Career and Technical Center as a precautionary measure.
This situation had NOTHING to do with any of the schools!
This is a situation that took place at the Health Department.
We are relieved that this situation is under control, and the individual involved is in custody.
We take the safety of our students and staff seriously, and we enacted these lockdowns as a proactive step to ensure everyone's well-being. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
As of now, all lockdowns have been lifted, and it is safe for students to resume their normal activities.
We will continue to work closely with law enforcement and maintain a heightened level of vigilance to ensure the ongoing security of our schools.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Fact # 1: Down syndrome is a genetic disorder caused when abnormal cell division results in extra genetic material from chromosome 21. 🧬

Mr. Frame and Mrs. Kinser joined with counselor Cody Frye to discuss ways to calm down with students and helped them create calm down bottles as visual aids.❤️
